Jola is an exceptional communications provider to UK SMEs via local Partners. One of our local Partners manages the LAN and associated IT infrastructure for his customers locally. One of his customers has recently purchased a competitor in the North and wants to relocate them nearby. They have around 15 people to accommodate and need to keep their telephone numbers and DDI ranges but would also like the option to answer calls in their head office in the Midlands. The telephone system in their head office was purchased outright a few years ago and works fine. A small satellite office has two phone lines and no telephone system.
A JolaPhone hosted phone system replacing everything (including broadband and ISDN) on all three sites came in at around half the monthly rental and call charges of their existing set-up. It also gave them faster Internet and a host of new features including multiple call queues and auto-attendants - plus the ability to answer any calls from any site. We first met the customer in the middle of October and received the order on the 1st November.
Jola trained the Partner in how to do the site surveys and installations for JolaPhone and the Partner also picked up all the structured cabling and LAN management work which they might otherwise have lost to a local telecoms dealer that was pitching hard for all the business.
This all started from an original desire from the customer for faster and cheaper access to the Internet.
Do you have any customers that might be struggling with broadband or have a leased line coming up for renewal?
Swan Independant Research ran a survey highlighting that SMEs are looking to their IT support company for advice on upgrading their office communications.
