Good reward and recognition schemes can encourage the right culture to drive growth in a channel business. Working from home has highlighted a need for useful KPIs. Teams with the right measures in place have found that productivity has gone through the roof. Sales teams are able to fit in more calls, meetings and webinars. Companies measuring not only call and ticket responses but also online statistics, such as the number of webinars completed, have seen an increase in activity leading to a surge in orders.
During Lockdown, we couldn’t do our usual Jola socials so we arranged Friday Teams calls where we invited comedians and musicians to come and entertain us online. We sent staff personalised Jola merchandise such as mugs and hoodies. We sent Just Eat vouchers and Amazon vouchers as tokens of our appreciation for hard work in a difficult time. However, the best reward and recognition strategy we implemented was our EMI share scheme.
Jola employees have been allotted a number of shares. They will benefit from the increase that they have created in the value of the business. Our EMI scheme is planned to deliver six-figure pay-outs to our most loyal and high-performing employees.
Statistics show that highly engaged and rewarded staff are more productive. Satisfied employees tend to be more loyal to the company, deliver higher levels of customer service and are more successful at helping partners to identify and win new opportunities.
