How can travel companies benefit from hosted telephony?

Find me on:

Many have small 1-2 person offices, agents or representatives that work in-country, looking after customers, managing bookings and locations.

There is frequent call traffic between their offices and particularly to and from the UK head office. They are often in elite travel destinations where call charges are inordinately high.

They are each given extensions off the Broadsoft platform in the UK which means;

  1. Calls between offices/agents are free
  2. All the offices can see who is on the phone and know if they can call them or transfer calls to them
  3. They can choose to dial out of the UK if the call is cheaper to do so
  4. They can act as overflow from the main UK office
  5. Intelligent queuing and numbering means that calls relating to that destination can be routed 1st choice to that country representative.

Many of  these small offices or agents will use soft-phones or mobile applications rather than buy separate handsets. Equally they will often have a separate system for local calls if it is cheaper to do so.

Do you have customers with offices or agents in other countries? JolaPhone, a hosted telephony solution from Jola, may be the perfect cloud voice solution for them.
